Mancos School District Financial Transparency
Mancos Colorado is located in southwestern Colorado, between Durango and Cortez on US Hwy 160. The Mancos Valley is surrounded by the beautiful La Plata Mountains on one side, and the spectacular cliffs of Mesa Verde National Park on the other.
Mancos School District RE-6 currently has an enrollment of 455 students, which includes 30 preschoolers (ages 3-5), 206 elementary school (grades K-5) students; 106 students in the middle school (grades 6-8); and 113 high school (grades 9–12) students. All four schools located on one campus allows for many unique cross grade level opportunities. There are 77 total faculty and staff members, with 34 certified employees, 39 classified employees and 4 administrators.
